Hello, Deviants! I'm making it a point to update my DA at least once a month.

I'm sure those who care have noticed that I haven't put up much of anything in a while. That's because my flexor tendinitis really acted up big-time. I got sick of it and finally had it operated on at the end of June. The surgery lasted less than thirty minutes, and my stitches came out last Tuesday.

How does it feel? Well, it hurt bad when the stitches were in, and hurts WORSE now that they're out. One of my sutures recessed, so it's gotta work its way out on its own and is SO sore and tender. I have to do these exercises for Physical Therapy, and OOOOW. I'm sore all the time, and typing actually has gotten more difficult for me because of my exercises. Hopefully, that'll improve.

Speaking of improvement, well, I couldn't stand holding my stylus (or almost any other writing implement) for longer than ten minutes. TORTURE. Well, even if it's a crappy old sketch, I managed to shade a picture for about thirty minutes today (with breaks) until I couldn't stand it anymore. That's progress, at least.

As for other things, I'm close to graduation with my AA. I have fallen in love with Typography and Printing, and really want to make it my focus. Also, I went to see *marron and had an ever so lovely time!

Well, here it is, and the lovely *marron is here at my house! We've been to see The Phantom of the Opera stage production last night and to San Francisco today, and tomorrow we go to see the new Indiana Jones movie. It's been great having her here so far!

As for a me-update, I've still got a touch of that flexor tendinitis, but it's not nearly as bad as it was since I got my second cortisone shot. It only stiffens up a bit, really. It's enough that I've been able to draw and massage again, so I'm happy. It's been wonderful having full use of my right hand again.

I've decided to finish my AA, so I'm going back to college to finish my Graphic Art degree (technically "Art New Media"). I don't know if I'll go on to get my BA, but I might. Who knows! At any rate, commissions are still on hold except for special requests or people who understand thatI will have very little free time for my own projects.

Really, I'm just trying to get things together and in order so I can reach my goals! Hard work may be a pain, but the reward is worth it, I feel.

Well, it's been a while, hasn't it? I'm sorry for my amazing lack of updates. As it is, I've developed Flexor Tendinitis, aka Trigger Finger in my two middle fingers on my right hand. My doctor seems to think it happened in some random injury, but as a result, my fingers wouldn't straighten out and would stiffen badly if I didn't move them.

I've since had cortisone shots in both middle tendons, and the swelling's gone down significantly, but they still stiffen up and hurt sometimes if they're bent too long. This includes eating with standard silverware, writing, and drawing. SUCKY. I also haven't been able to do any massage.

Right now, all commissions are on hold. I'm not taking any jobs unless you want to wait a long time for them. I've got a few projects, but they won't be nearly as hard to do.

I am, however, offering moolah to whoever wants to do a new Deviant ID for me! Maybe I'll make a contest of it or something.

Anyway, I'm still alive, still watching everyone, but I won't be contributing again for a while.

So I'm almost done with my certification course in Massage Therapy! So excited! People say I have a real future, and I'm just doing my best to make it there. It's expensive to get started, but if you get clients, you can go far! So who wants to be a client? I give GREAT massages.

I've noticed my art getting an eensy bit better since studying anatomy, but I'm never going to be one of those super fantastic comic artists. My art is good enough for me, and I do it out of love, not for production.

DAMN YOU, MARVEL COMICS. BITCHES. WHY DID YOU KILL CAP?! Of course, he'll be back, but please allow me my indignation.

Really, life gets better and better, even if the work is hard right now. Thanks for the support, everyone!

I am now in school to be a Certified Massage Therapist. It's something I've wanted to do since I was in high school, and now I'm making it happen! So exciting! I love learning about the body and energy within and without and seeing how we're put together. Also, giving massage is just as rewarding as receiving one. It also is mildly aerobic! So very healthy!

A couple of people have asked me to work on pics, but I don't have a lot of time right now as a result of working full time and going to school and doing OLR. If you don't mind waiting and want something simple, I'll see. I'm still working on my dear =disneypunk10's Dollfie. Arrr. It WILL get done.

I'm lucky and blessed to have the strength to clear out the negativity in my life and focus on the positive going on. I have the best friends ever and a happy future ahead of me.
