Okay, so I haven't quite lived up to my statement that I'd update my journal monthly. So sue me, I've been busy.

All right, where to start? How about my hand. It turned out that the problems I had after my surgery were due to several things. One, a suture was knotted under the skin and had to be surgically removed. Two, I had a build up of scar tissue. Three, I was still triggering, only in a different place, up in the middle joint of my middle finger of my right hand. Cortisone shot time! Anyway, it still gets stiff, but it's doing much better. I can draw again! I still get tired and sore, but it takes a lot longer now.

Oh, according to my doctor, I had H1N1 and didn't know it. :blink:

I've been experimenting with color and style lately, sort of giving up on trying to follow any rules. I've gotten very boring with perfectly proportionate figures, especially when not all human beings are perfectly proportionate. I've also taken up painting and am currently working on a pair of 16x20 pieces based on Celtic Bronze Age work, and am working on a couple of gift pieces, one by request.

Starting next week, I'm back to working full time as well as going to school. Finals week is approaching, and after that, hopefully I'll have a visitor.

Anyhoo, that's about it!
